Justin Bieber Shows Off Mobility in His Face Following Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Just days after it was announced that Justin Bieber had canceled the rest of his Justice World Tour, he’s already showing signs that his health has improved. The singer, who was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome last year, posted an Instagram Story that showed him regaining the mobility in his face — something he could not do before.

The “Peaches” hitmaker shared the update with his 281 million followers in a short video, moving his eyes from side to side as he smiled widely in the background. The clip indicates that the singer’s recovery is getting much-needed attention and support from fans.

Following his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, caused by shingles in the facial nerve, the “Peaches” singer first revealed that he was struggling to move his face last June. He shared that he was doing facial exercises to regain movement, but it would take time.

During his diagnosis, Bieber postponed his tour dates to focus on his recovery. In addition, he had reportedly been exerting too much pressure on his body to play live concerts.

He eventually returned to the stage, performing some shows in Europe and South America before announcing that he would cancel the remainder of his tour. The singer explained that he was prioritizing his health and felt “horrible” about pulling back on his touring schedule.

In addition to his health concerns, the singer suffered from several other issues, including drug abuse and alcoholism. He also had difficulty coping with his father’s death in January 2022.

Since the news of his condition was publicized, the singer has been undergoing several surgeries, according to Entertainment Tonight. He’s also had several treatments for his condition, including antiviral medications and pain relievers.

While the news of his condition has left fans concerned about his future, the “Peaches” singer has been putting his health first and looking forward to a healthy recovery. Thankfully, this latest update shows that he’s making progress and is happy to be taking the time to focus on his physical and mental well-being.

The “Peaches” singer took to social media on Wednesday, March 15, to show that he has finally regained some movement in his face. He filmed a short clip of himself moving his eyes from side to side and smiling widely as the song “Ice T” by Tems played in the background.

He captioned the video, “Wait for it.”

The singer moved his eyes freely in the Instagram Story clip, which appears to be taken from the set of his Rolling Loud music festival concert on Saturday night (March 16). He and Hailey Bieber, his wife, looked in high spirits as they partied after the performance.

In addition to his physical struggles, the “Peaches” singer was recently rumored to be throwing shade at his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. The two were once in a relationship but last saw together late 2018.

While his health problems have kept him off the road for several years, his newfound focus on his well-being has helped him overcome them. As a result, he’s not only feeling better physically, but his love for his family and friends has shown through.
